FIFO Gateway is a quiz, a guide and a handbook built around one goal: giving people trying to break into FIFO and shutdown work a straight, practical starting point — not a brochure.
The content comes from on-site experience on FIFO and shutdown crews, not from a desk reading resumes. No name is attached to it, deliberately — the person behind it still works in the industry and keeps specific crews, employers and sites out of it. What's shared instead is the vantage point: what gets watched for on site, because that's what decides whether someone gets asked back.
This is general information: a free quiz to help you work out where you're at, a written handbook, and a video guide that walks through the process in order — tickets, where beginners genuinely get hired, your resume, the medical, and your first swing.
It isn't a job guarantee, a recruitment service, or a promise of an interview. Nobody can guarantee you a FIFO job — not this site, not a course, not a recruiter. Anyone who tells you otherwise is the red flag, not you.
The quiz and the tickets article are free because most people trying to get into FIFO don't actually know where they stand yet. The Guide and the Handbook are there if you want the full, structured version once you do.
